​Explore Tiger Hill Pagoda

The project takes Tiger Hill, a renowned 5A tourist attraction in Suzhou, as a pilot site. A questionnaire survey was first conducted to collect and analyze public feedback and user experiences regarding the cultural tourism metaverse. On the technical side, 3D scanning, intelligent surveying, mapping, and 3D scene modeling were employed to create a virtual simulation and replication of the Tiger Hill Pagoda. At the same time, a digital tour guide character was developed, incorporating Suzhou’s cultural background and unique features. The character’s body movements were driven using ROKOKO motion capture technology. In addition, AI technology enabled users to interact with the digital character through both text and voice, further enhancing the immersive digital experience of the Tiger Hill scenic area. By integrating AI-powered digital tour guides with 3D scene modeling, the project represents an initial exploration and innovation in the field of the cultural tourism metaverse.
